Gorgeous Boulder Opal

358.00

Boulder Opal is a precious opal forming as a result of silica-solution seeping into spaces in brown ironstone. It is the second rarest opal on Earth after black opal, but is often nearly identical in appearance to black opal. Considering that boulder opals cost about 7 times less than black opal but looks almost the same, that makes it seem like a pretty good deal to me! Boulder opal mining is at a standstill, as an Australian natural disaster has destroyed mining equipment.

This one-of-a-kind, very high-quality pendant of boulder opal was mined in Australia prior to the disaster. It features stunning pools of opal in the hues of tanzanite, lavender, pink blue and orange. The brown ironstone makes the colors pop!

This outrageously amazing pendant measures 1.25 by 1 inch (3 by 2.5 centimeters), quite substantial for a boulder opal. The double chocolate brown leather cord is adjustable 16-18 inches, and is finished with sterling clasping and a sterling Amy Zane tag, and another Swarovski crystal.

Your necklace will be shipped first class USPS mail with insurance and will arrive in gorgeous Amy Zane packaging. Due to the complex nature of international shipping, any shipping charge overages greater than $2.00 will be refunded.
