Striking Turitella Fossil Agate

92.00

Turitella fossil agates are actually in not Turitella fossils at all, but Elimia tenera snail fossils in a dense chalcedony. The mistake in naming was caught too late, and the name stuck. They are found in the Green River formation in Wyoming, having been deposited there somewhere between 53 to 42 million years ago. No matter the name, they are awesome fossils.

These earrings are a striking example with their very well-definted fossils.  They measure 1and 5/8 inches (4.1 cm) long, including the sterling ear wires and Swarovski crystal accents.

Your earrings will be shipped first class USPS mail with insurance and will arrive in gorgeous Amy Zane packaging. Due to the complex nature of international shipping, extra shipping may apply to international orders.
